Hello! I’m Teresa Navone.
I am particularly good at bringing structure to chaos, translating needs and goals into practical systems for real people.
As a fractional operations partner, I work primarily with solopreneurs, small and growing businesses, and service- or mission-driven teams in the $250K-$3M range who want to strengthen their operations.
I bring over 20 years of experience defining and improving how businesses get work done. I’ve always been a systems builder – no matter what my role – designing processes and tools to make work more efficient, reliable, and easier to manage.
Most recently, I spent 6+ years as COO of a small training consultancy, building operational infrastructure from the ground up: financial systems, project management, sales processes, marketing, and more. Before that, I managed projects and programs across a diverse set of industries, such as publishing, construction, and public health, always improving how work was done while actually doing the work. I’ve also run my own profitable product business, so I understand what it’s like to be the overwhelmed business owner trying to do it all.
I hold an MBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University where I received the Information Systems & Operations Management (ISOM) Distinction Award for my class. I’m also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). My BA is in Educational Studies (also from Emory).
Away from my desk, I’m usually spending time with my dog, reading, painting, cooking, gardening, riding my bike, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors.
